Did you know that it is required by law to inspect your motor hoists, winches and other lifting equipment annually? Riggingbox is happy to provide your rigging certificate. We perform the inspection and certification both at your location, and in our own workshop. The inspection is then documented through our proprietary certification program.
We understand better than anyone that sometimes your rigging materials are traveling for more than a year, for example as part of a tour. This is the reason we perform inspections all over the world. Do you have an event abroad and the materials need to be inspected? Then we just come to you!
Inspection of motor hoists
It is compulsory to inspect your motortacles annually, no matter where you got them or what you use them for. Riggingbox inspects any type of motorcycle hoist of any brand and provides them with a rigging certificate.
On the basis of NPR8020-14/NEN3140 we have developed a set checklist, which we use to comprehensively inspect your hoists on various aspects. Our technicians are trained and certified to inspect any type of motorcycle hoist. This ensures you have a reliable rigging certificate for your materials.
Inspection for trusses
Of course, our trusses are also regularly inspected and certified. When you rent these from us, you can rest assured at all times that the trusses are safe and reliable to work with. But even if you don’t rent from us, you can still get a rigging certificate for your own materials.
All our trusses are rigging certified by category. In the future, we want to move to a system where each individual truss has a QR code. In this way, the inspection history for each truss can be easily traced.
The process of an inspection
1.Contact with Riggingbox
If you are already a customer with us, you will receive an annual reminder for the inspection and then easily schedule an appointment. If this is your first inspection through Riggingbox, we will first visit you on site to take stock of the situation. We then consider whether judging makes sense at all and whether the materials are sufficiently accessible.
2.The inspection itself
For the inspection itself, we schedule an appointment and come to inspect the equipment at your location according to our own guidelines and methodology. In doing so, we inspect both the material itself and the assembly. We also provide advice if needed. For example, if we see that something is hung incorrectly, we will advise you on the correct way to use your materials. We also take photos for the report.
3. Any repairs
If we find during the inspection that something is broken, we will fix it on the spot. If this is not possible, we will take it to our workshop and repair the materials there. If necessary, we will order new parts and perform the repair. In some cases, it is more beneficial to rent new equipment. We always discuss which solution best suits your situation.
4. Your Rigging Certification
We prepare a certificate based on the findings during the inspection. We email the certificates to you and also place them in HoistBox, our own online environment. Should any repairs have been made, we will indicate this on your rigging certificate. So you can always see the repair history of your equipment.
